Quiz program on Water – Resources, Management and Human health
Quiz Masters : Mr. Abid Abdulla & Mr. Siddhanth Rao
48 teams from 17 colleges from Chennai, Kancheepuram and Chengalpet districts registered for the event. Following the preliminary round, 9 teams qualified for the finals.
The first place with the trophy was secured by Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering. Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College and Guru Nanak College won the second and third places respectively.

Water Management and Environmental protection – Conference for Awareness
Venue: C.R.I. Charitable trust community hall, Sithaputhur, Kovai.
Date: 19th October 2019, 3.00 PM
Expo of skills in school students on the topics of Water management and Environmental protection
Conduct preliminary speech competitions in all govt. higher secondary schools in the district of Coimbatore (around 150 schools) and select two students from each school. Further selection process to identify three finalists to give a speech in the Conference of Awareness along with our honourable guest speakers.
Finalists were awarded with shield, certificate and gift.
Block level winners (blocks of the district) were awarded with certificate and gift.
All participants were issued with participation certificate.

Save water and Conserve water resources – Awareness Campaign
Venue: Manjai Nagar Ground, Cuddalore – 01
Date: 24th June 2018, 10.00 AM

On June 24th 2018, an event to create awareness on water saving was organised.
Event: Lunch was served for everyone, but without water or anything to drink. Water pot was placed in a distance of around 100 m. We proposed if anyone could complete their lunch without drinking water. We requested them to walk to the water pot at anytime if they wish to drink water.

On June 24th 2018, our awareness meeting on Rainwater harvesting was successfully contained with the help of Mr. Anbu, Shrishiry Organic Store and Mr. Rajinikanth Davamani.
We apologise to Mr. Saravanan, Hydrogeologist, that he was unable to give his speech as scheduled.

கொஞ்சிகுப்பம் – குளம் தூர் வாரும் பணி
Konjikuppam – Lake desilting
Konjikuppam is a small village near Kaadampuliyur in Tamil Nadu, India. There are around 500 families in this village and they make their living through agriculture.
They depend on this lake as a principal resource of water for agriculture and as drinking water. Moreover, this lake also serves as a water resource for around 600 cattle of the village.
This lake was not desilted for several years. The current water storage capacity is less than three feet in general but near to zero water stored in summer.
Luckily, the youngsters of the village were mindful about the need to restore their principal water resource. Neer Inaiyam supports their endeavour.
